EXPERIENCE AND AWARENESS CENTER

For more than a century, burning fossil fuels has generated most of the energy required to propel our cars, power our businesses, and keep the lights on in our homes. Even today, oil, coal, and gas provide for about 80% of our energy needs.

Coal, crude oil, and natural gas are all considered fossil fuels because they were formed from the fossilized, buried remains of plants and animals that lived millions of years ago. Because of their origins, fossil fuels have a high carbon content.

2019 was the second warmest year on record and the end of the warmest decade (2010- 2019) ever recorded.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) levels and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere rose to new records in 2019.

Project Design (Layout according to stages)

Stage 1 : Village Walk-through

After registering themselves, they will first step into Stage 1 - the village walk-through. At this stage, the visitor will able to experience a 6D simulation of air pollution victims caused by fossil fuel in their village.

There will be a simulation of a fossil fuel factory in model scale and house interior in actual scale. There will also smell, visual and sound simulations happening at the same time to provide the best simulation.

Stage 2 : Knowing Fossil Fuel

At Stage 2, visitors get to experience hands-on activities on how fossil fuel works. There will be data and information showing the statistic and also educate them on the impact of fossil fuel. Then, visitors will need to choose whether to make a change in the continuing burning of fossil fuel or not.

Stage 3 : To Choose - NO

If the visitor’s choice is a NO, they will be lead to another room which is a higher-level kind of burning fossil fuels activities. In the room, they will experience more extreme hands-on activity and experiments which will bring a worse impact on the environment. Thus, they will get to see the worse outcome and data to prove their wrong decision. Therefore, they will have a chance to be alive back (the second chance)

Stage 3 : To Choose - YES

If the visitor’s choice is a YES, they will be lead to a bigger room where they will experience a whole new environment mainly constructed and run with renewable energy. In between before proceeding to the next stage, there will be different challenge rooms. The challenge rooms functioned to educate the visitor on the importance of switching off unnecessary usage of energy in our daily life. Visitors are required to complete missions to proceed.

Stage 4 : Challenge Room

Final Stage : New World - Green Garden

Towards the last stage, all visitors will be lead to a green garden which symbolize the good environment after choosing renewable energy as an energy resource. This also reflects that it helps a lot in saving the environment. There will be E-Book projection for information reading, green planting, virtual waterfall and seating for visitors to chill after a long journey.
